Ineko Sata was a Japanese communist and feminist author of proletarian literature.

Sata, Ineko (September 1904 - October 1998) was born in Nagasaki. After graduating from elementary school, she moved with her family to Tokyo. The family was poor, and Sata worked at various jobs as a young girl. In 1922 her poems were published for the first time in "Shi to jinsei" ("Poetry and life").
